Race series for triathlon upstarts returns for bigger 2017 season

Rookie triathletes who want to finally put what they learned to the test, this is for you.

Multisport website SwimBikeRun.ph will once again stage its triathlon series designed for the newcomers to the game.

The SBR.ph Tri Series has become the stepping stone for triathletes who have become successful in international competitions.

For this year, however, SBR decided to reach out to newer triathletes who want to learn the game slow but sure as a lite division has been opened.

With its race distance half of that of the full division, the lite division is tailor-made for those who just began doing the sport.

The SBR Tri Series 2017 will begin with the Aquaman Aquathlon, a swim and run race, on April 23 at the PhilSports Complex in Pasig.

Action will then shift to Nuvali in Sta. Rosa City on May 28 with the much anticipated Duaman Duathlon, a run, bike and run again race.

The series will conclude with its main event, the Triman Triathlon on June 18 at Fontana Hot Springs Leisure Park in Angeles.

Interested triathletes can register at swimbikerun.ph/triseries2017, where further details about the said races can be seen. PNA
