TOPS officers inducted

Philippine Sports Commission (PSC) chairman Butch Ramirez inducted the officers of the newly-organized Tabloid Organization in Philippine Sports (TOPS) in a simple ceremony recently at the PSC Administration Building inside the Rizal Memorial Sports Complex.

Gracing the ceremony were PSC commissioners Ramon Fernandez, Charles Maxey, Arnold Agustin and Celia Kiram.

Inducted were Ed Andaya of People’s Tonight (president), Dennis Eroa of Inquirer Group (vice president-Internal), Beth Repizo of Pilipino Star Ngayon (VP-external), Edwin Rollon of Balita (secretary); Nympha Miano-Ang of Bulgar (treasurer) and Mae Balbuena of Pang-Masa (auditor).

They were joined by Enjel Manato of Abante/Abante Tonite; Fred Nasiad of Bandera; Jeff Venancio of Police Files, Clyde Mariano of Pilipino Mirror; Rico Navarro of Remate, Jesse Ong of The Market Monitor and Danny Simon of H.O.Y (directors).

Former Philippine Amateur Track and Field Association (Patafa) and TOPS adviser Go Teng Kok accompanied the group.
