The Department of Transportation (DOTr) cautions the public against travel scams that may ruin their vacation this Holy Week.

Beware of these travel scams:

  1. Fake accommodation
  2. Fake wifi
  3. To-good-to-be-true deals
  4. “Free” vacation trap
  5. Fake travel agents
  6. Overpriced tours
  7. Charity con
  8. Counterfeit cash
  9. Hidden CCTVs
  10. Fake taxi
  11. Selling lost baggage on FB
  12. Fake SIMs
  13. Fixer
  14. Cheap airline tickets on social media
