Smart Omega’s All-Star roster ready to conquer CDFI Beijing Tournament

Smart Omega, a prominent force in the competitive gaming scene, is thrilled to announce its qualification for the knockout playoffs of the prestigious Call of Duty: Mobile Fall Invitational in Beijing, China.

Organized by Tencent Games and Garena, the Call of Duty: Mobile Fall Invitational brings together the best teams from China, Southeast Asia, Japan, and India to compete on the grand stage at ShouGang PARK. The tournament, taking place from November 21 to 26, showcases elite teams battling for supremacy in one of the most popular mobile gaming titles.

Smart Omega emerged as the top team in Group B during the group stage with an impressive 4-1 record, securing their spot in the offline event in China. Joining them in the knockout playoffs from Group B are China’s Wolves and All Gamers, as well as Singapore’s Powerhouse International. Group A’s representatives include the American powerhouse Elevate, along with Indonesia’s KAGENDRA, Japan’s Volt, and China’s Qing Jiu Club.

The formidable roster of Smart Omega is led by skipper Jerrold “Woopiiee” Regay and playing coach John Benedict “Jaben” Julio.

Completing the squad are Edgar Martin “Tin” Matoza, Jonnel “R1sky” Buemio,  Gian Zydric “Yato” Socao, and Abraham Jose “Eiji” Agbing.

Smart Omega Chief Operating Officer Patrick “Phatrick” Cruz and team manager Rianne Magsino are accompanying the team in China.

Jaben, the playing coach of Smart Omega, shared his enthusiasm for the tournament, saying, “I’m grateful to be part of the CDFI tournament. The visa journey had its hurdles, but overcoming them added to the excitement. The team and I are ready to compete at our best with a new lineup.”

Captain Woopiiee expressed confidence in his team’s capabilities, stating, “With this new lineup, we’re geared up and ready to conquer every challenge that comes our way and emerge victorious because we are the super team. I am confident that we will dominate the CDFI just like we did in the group stage.”

In the Call of Duty: Mobile Fall Invitational quarterfinals, Smart Omega will face off against Qing Jiu on Thursday, aiming to secure their place in the later stages of the competition. The tournament boasts a significant prize pool of $55,805 USD.
