John Aguilar on Building a Life That Lasts

At the launch of The Art & Science of Peak Performance, John Aguilar explained that his motivation is not just about achieving more today, but ensuring he can live well for decades to come.

Manila, Philippines — September 6, 2025 – Speaking before an engaged audience at Shangri-La Plaza, Aguilar shared that his drive for wellness is rooted in family and the desire to live long enough to enjoy life with future generations.

“What inspires me most is my family. I want to live long enough to still be able to play sports and travel with my future grandchildren,” he said.

A Focus on Longevity

In The Art & Science of Peak Performance, Aguilar emphasizes that longevity and quality of life matter just as much as ambition. Drawing from science, global insights, and his own lived experiences, the book presents practical ways to sustain energy, prevent disease, and extend vitality.

Aguilar noted that peak performance doesn’t need to feel intimidating or extreme. “It’s not about cold plunges or advanced protocols. It’s about simple, sustainable choices — like sleeping better, eating mindfully, and staying active,” he explained.

Building Habits That Last

The book highlights seven areas — from recovery and nutrition to mindset and biohacking — and shows how small steps in each area can compound over time. Aguilar described it as a guide not just for athletes, but for anyone who wants to take control of their health, whether they’re just starting out or looking to stay active later in life. The Art & Science of Peak Performance is now available in select National Book Store branches in Manila, across Southeast Asia, and globally on Amazon.
