The Jollibee Group’s South Korean value coffee brand Compose Coffee has achieved the highest customer satisfaction rating among Korea’s leading low-cost franchises.
The result was based on a recent survey released by the Korea Consumer Agency (KCA), South Korea’s government-mandated consumer protection institution established to safeguard and advance consumer rights, enhance market transparency and improve overall consumer welfare.
Based on the survey of 1,600 consumers, Compose Coffee achieved the highest overall satisfaction score of 3.97 out of five.
The brand excelled across key customer experience drivers, including customer service, operational expertise, empathy, menu quality and ordering convenience.
Customer preferences were largely influenced by menu–price suitability, coffee taste and store accessibility.
Jollibee Group said that Compose Coffee’s customer satisfaction recognition comes amid a period of rapid expansion supported by strong digital engagement and a scalable, asset-light business model.
It said that KCA’s findings reinforce Compose Coffee’s strong operational execution, expanding consumer relevance and accelerating contribution to the Jollibee Group’s long-term agenda.
“As one of the fastest-growing coffee platforms in South Korea, Compose Coffee benefits from strong consumer affinity, operational discipline and the Jollibee Group’s rising capability in managing high-volume, quality-driven beverage concepts internationally,” the Asian food conglomerate said.
“The study findings affirm Compose Coffee’s growing cultural presence and brand equity, with customers citing its convenience, approachable menu and consistently reliable experience. This reflects a wider trend in the value coffee segment, where consumers seek both affordability and high quality,” it said.
Jollibee Group said it continues to invest in technology enhancements, operational simplification and feedback-driven product improvements to further elevate consumer experiences across its coffee and tea brands worldwide.
Compose Coffee is a South Korean value coffee brand acquired by the Jollibee Group in 2024 to further fortify its coffee and tea business.
The group, which oversees 19 brands with more than 10,000 stores across 33 countries, holds a 70-percent ownership stake in Compose Coffee.
Jollibee Group said Compose Coffee is now set for overseas expansion, with plans to activate markets across Southeast Asia, “riding the global momentum of K food and backed by a scalable value proposition rooted in quality and affordability.”
The brand is expected to have a seamless entry into high-growth markets, leveraging the Jollibee Group’s extensive global supply chain and operational expertise in over 30 countries.
It reached its 3,000-store milestone in September 2025, adding 1,000 stores in just under 18 months after opening its 2,000th location.
Total product sales in 2025 grew by more than 10 percent year-on-year, despite a highly competitive market, with the brand’s signature Americano accounting for approximately 200 million cups.
