Vinfast is on a roll these days as it rolls out various pioneering electric car policies and significantly broadening its product lineup in the local market.
Last week, Vinfast Philippines, led by Vinfas chief executive officer Toti Zara, unveiled its Battery Subscription Program, an important step in the brand’s evolving approach to electric mobility in the Philippines
Zara disclosed that this is VinFast long-term approach for the electric mobility in the local market and why this shift calls for a more flexible way of thinking about EV ownership. It offers an alternative ownership model that helps lower upfront costs and ease common concerns around battery longevity and long-term ownership.
As this developed, VinFast is fast demonstrating that the Southeast Asia region is no longer merely a follower, but an active contributor to the future of mobility as it continueexpanding and significantly broadened product lineup this 2026 from the VF 3 and VF 5 to the VF 6, VF 7, and VF 9.
VinFast also plans to introduce this year electric scooters and an MPV in the Philippines, vehicle segments with high market demand and strong growth potential, aimed at further accelerating market penetration and expanding its share in one of Southeast Asia’s most dynamic automotive markets.
During the VinFast’s Thanksgiving gathering themed “The Road We Share,” with theautomotive media practitioners, KOLs, and industry partners Zara was quoted as saying: “We are entering 2026 with strong momentum, built on the trust and support we have earned in the Philippines over the past two years. This year is about accelerating, expanding access, strengthening our ecosystem, and making electric mobility a source of confidence and pride for Filipino driver.”
Supporting this expanded lineup is a growing nationwide retail and service centers asVinFast currently operates 30 dealerships and 34 service workshops across the country.
At the same time, the company’s ecosystem push extends to charging infrastructure. Through V-GREEN, VinFast is steadily rolling out charging stations across key urban centers and major transport corridors, with further expansion planned for 2026 to support both electric cars and electric two-wheelers. This growing network is aimed at reducing range anxiety and strengthening long-term confidence in EV ownership, ensuring that customers are supported not just at the point of purchase, but throughout their transition to electric mobility.
With bigger electric SUVs, new vehicle segments, more dealerships, and a stronger charging backbone, VinFast is positioning itself as a fast-scaling EV brand in the Philippines, offering Filipinos a more complete, convenient, and future-ready electric mobility experience.
Early this year, VinFast also turned over 500 electric vehicles to Xentro Motors to accelerate the deployment of EV-powered ride-hailing fleet and is a part of VinFast’s broader plan to supply up to 1,000 VF e34 units to support Xentro’s expanding electric ride-hailing operations in Metro Manila. Reinforcing its commitment to advancing clean, accessible mobility solutions in the country, the Vietnam-born BEV automaker is also expanding its footprint in the corporate fleet sector, partnering with a growing number of Philippine companies seeking reliable, cost-efficient, and sustainable transport solutions.
Xentro Motors is the automotive arm of Xentro Group of Companies, a Philippine developer known for Xentro Malls—a rising network of community malls and commercial centers with key presence in fast-growing cities nationwide. Xentro Malls boasts an extensive mall network equipped with charging hubs that aim to address infrastructure barriers for EV adoption in the Philippines.
Powered by Xentro Malls’ EV-ready infrastructure, Xentro Motors aims to help mainstream battery electric vehicles, making sustainable mobility more accessible to mall-goers and EV adoption more convenient for EV owners.
Last November, Xentro Motors inked a partnership deal with VinFast, which committed to supply Xentro with 1,000 units of VF e34. The BEV brand delivered 500 units in December and is expected to complete the delivery of the remaining units in March this year.
“VinFast’s partnerships with key business fleets underscore the strength and versatility of our electric vehicle lineup. They’re built to deliver reliable, high-performance mobility across a wide range of operational needs. As we look ahead to 2026, we remain committed to advocating for greater EV adoption in the Philippines and empowering more companies to transition to sustainable, future-ready transportation solutions,” said Toti Zara, the CEO of VinFast Southeast Asia.
