A New Chapter Begins: Eton City Welcomes the University of the East to the South

Eton Properties marked another milestone as it officially broke ground on the University of the East’s (UE) first campus in the South, located within the 600-hectare Eton City in Sta. Rosa, Laguna.

From its inception, Eton City was envisioned as more than just a place to live. It was designed as a complete and connected community where families can grow, businesses can succeed, and learning has a place. With the establishment of the UE Eton Laguna Campus, that vision takes another meaningful step forward.

“We’re breaking ground not only on a university campus but on an idea that education should be at the heart of every well-planned community,” said Kyle C. Tan, Eton Properties’ President and CEO during the ceremony.

The UE Eton City Campus is envisioned as a modern learning environment that embodies the shared values of innovation, accessibility, and sustainability. It will serve as a bridge between generations, offering young students a world-class place to learn close to home, while giving families and professionals a deeper sense of belonging within the township.

For Eton Properties, the partnership with UE is a promise fulfilled that traces back to the early master plan of Eton City. “From the start, Eton believed that a great community is not built on structures alone,” Tan shared. “It grows stronger when it includes access to quality education.”

The occasion reflected Eton Properties’ belief that communities grow stronger when people can live, learn, and build their future together.
