Enchanted Kingdom (EK), the first and only world- class theme park in the Philippines, celebrates its 30th anniversary this year with the launch of new rides and heightened excitement for entire families. A media launch was held October 4 at the park’s Eldar’s Theater in Santa Rosa, Laguna.
Mario O. Mamon, Enchanted Kingdom President and Chairman, promises another year of an enchanting journey filled with magical experiences and memories for generations of Filipinos.
“Looking back,” says Nico R. Mamon, EK’s 30th Anniversary Celebration Chairman, “we truly have cultivated countless magical memories. We are excited to continuously be a part of everyone’s story.”
Among the highlights of the 30th anniversary celebration are:
AGILA the EKsperience: SARIBUHAY Special Block Screening. This year, we elevate our advocacy towards environment protection and conservation as we create more educational and immersive experiences with the enhanced film and overall thematic journey of the country’s first and only flying theater – featuring our archipelago’s rich biodiversity.
Aliw Broadcasting’s A Christmas Chorale Festival with Jose Mari Chan. Enjoy a front-row seat and sing along with the King of Philippine Christmas Carols together with the Himig Sanghaya Choral.
Magical experiences with our more than 30 rides and attractions. Experience our world-class rides and shows, the enchantment of our unique-themed zones and retail shops, and the chance to create magical memories that last a lifetime.

Mr. Mamon says part of EK’s continued evolution is the addition of new rides and attractions. Through the gated attraction, Midway Mirror Maze, guests step into a world of illusions, twists and turns as they navigate the labyrinth of mirrors and lights.
“Perfect for adventurers, the Midway Mirror Maze promises a fun and challenging experience that will test one’s sense of direction.”
Another new ride, EKlipse, is family-friendly, designed to be enjoyed by families with focus on pre-teens and teenagers.
The new ride may boast unique, unpredictable rotating movements with matching visual illusions as the arms of this new toy bypass and overlap each other. Yet, one isn’t thrown upside down, non-inverting, unlike in other thrill rides, keeping guests seated upright throughout the experience.
EK is also home to Tater’s and Fortune Bakeshop, Starbucks and Cafe Mary Grace, which are open every day even when EK is closed. THE MARKET MONITOR
