Goodbye, Piolo Pascual’s “Himala The Musical”

It’s final.

We will never see Piolo Pascual in the Philstagers’ stage production of “Himala, The Musical.”

It’s not Piolo’s fault nor Philstagers’ but circumstances brought the musical to a nil as far as the Vince Tañada’s multimedia company is concerned.  According to a very reliable source, another production is doing the play.

Even award-winning musician Pipo Cifra was surprised when he learned that it wasn’t Philstagers anymore to mount the musical.

Sayang. Kasama pa naman ako roon sa unang produkayon (ir’s regretful. I was even part of the first production),” Pipo said sadly.

Meanwhile, the Tanada camp is mum about the issue.

The Philstagers project was enthusiastic that Pascual and Ricky Lee, the writer of the screen and theater versions of the Nora Aunor acting masterpiece went to see Vince personally to initially finalize the stage play only to be set aside. (Boy Villasanta)
