Ride-hailing platform inDrive has joined forces with SEAOIL Philippines, Inc. to introduce a driver loyalty program aimed at offering rewards and incentives to its driver network.
At the ceremonial signing in Quezon City last week, Vanessa Taqueban, inDrive’s driver operations lead in the Philippines, explained that the partnership seeks to foster a sustainable and empowering environment for their drivers.
“Together, we’re building a system where drivers aren’t just seen as service providers—but as partners who deserve meaningful recognition and support,” Taqueban said.
The initiative is intended as a long-term effort to provide everyday benefits such as exclusive fuel discounts, priority cards, reward incentives, and other perks accessible at SEAOIL stations nationwide.
SEAOIL executive Glenne Therese Tiu emphasized that the collaboration reflects SEAOIL’s “commitment to uplift and support hardworking Filipinos.”
“Fuel is one of the largest daily operational costs for drivers. By helping ease this burden, we’re enabling them to focus on delivering better service and sustaining their livelihood,” Tiu said.
Beyond fuel discounts, the program will extend exclusive offers on vehicle maintenance, accessories, health essentials, and include quarterly special recognition for top drivers, community events, plus access to educational tools and digital resources for drivers.
inDrive is also partnering with other firms like Toyota Quezon Avenue, Motivo, RideSecure, The Freshest, Itel, Elliexer, AMB Tire Supply, Laban TNVS, Zenith Global Marketing Corporation, Zenskin, and Iceberg Insulated.
Nikolay Olesov, head of driver operations for Growing Markets Asia Pacific, shared that inDrive’s driver base has expanded to over 20,000 in the first quarter of 2025, with operations spanning Metro Manila, Cebu, Bacolod, Iloilo, and Baguio.
Olesov said the company targets a 30 to 40 percent increase in driver numbers moving forward.
He also mentioned plans to explore a cashless payment system, adding, “As long as it does not increase the price and everyone is happy.”
