Isuzu delivers aid to Cebu typhoon victims

Isuzu Philippines Corporation, together with its Mandaue dealer partner Iconic Dealership, Inc. (IDI) and the local government units, distributed essential relief supplies to 250 families severely affected by the recent typhoon Tino in Cebu, the hardest-hit areas when it struck in November 2025, causing unprecedented flooding and widespread damage to vulnerable communities.

The relief packs, which included canned goods, drinking water, and a sack of rice, were prepared to support the recovery needs of underprivileged families still rebuilding months after the disaster.

Led by IPC human resources supervisor Kathryn Francisco, Isuzu Mandaue branch manager Eufemio Ybañez, and representatives from partner LGUs, the team distributed the relief packs to the communities of Lilo-an, Cotcot, Consolacion and Laray. Isuzu also deployed its Isuzu Mobile Medic unit to transport relief goods which helped the team reach affected residents more efficiently across multiple barangays.

“IPC is not only a Responsible Partner for customers, but also for communities in need. Local residents and businesses have helped strengthen IPC’s leadership as the country’s leading truck brand, and it is only right that we give back in times of hardship. Through these efforts, we stand with Cebu as it rebuilds after Typhoon Tinos” said IPC’s Francisco.

“It was truly uplifting to witness the strength and unity of the affected families. We are honored to join IPC in this initiative, and we remain committed to supporting our fellow Cebuanos as they work toward recovery, said Ybañez, the Isuzu Mandaue Branch Head.

Barangay representative April Malonjao, together with barangay officials, welcomed the team and helped organize the distribution. “We sincerely thank Isuzu Philippines and Isuzu Mandaue for their timely support. Their presence today brings encouragement and much needed relief to our residents,” he said.

This initiative underscores IPC’s mission to be a reliable partner to Filipinos both on the road and in times of crisis.
