Despite Coco Martin’s alleged generosity and kindness, he is still accused of several misconduct, two of them threats and a capital investment challenge.
The accuser is Rod Navarro. Jr. the scion of the late character actor Rod Navarro.
Rod, Jr. has accused Coco of threats in the workplace.
He said to me that if he would hear that I boasted and talkative, I would be fired),” stated Navarro, Jr. in his video confession.
Rod appealed for help from Martin during his financially bereft days.
Single parent ako (I approached him for my kids),” quipped Junior.
Coco said Rod, Jr. came to him one rainy day.
I told him, okay, I will give you a chance. This also involves the show but you will not be part of the cast. I will assign you as marshal. There are many jobless character actors nowadays whom we assign as marshals on the) set,” said Coco.
Sabi ko, magtinda sila ng (I also told him I would give him capital for a business. It is because our country is so poor. He has children. I told him to sell) banana cue,” added Coco.
Navarrio decided not to get the money sent by Coco.
(Because he told me he would fire me immediately if he hears some things unfavorable about me. What if the capital he gave me doesn’t grow?),” asked Rod.
Knowing Coco who is straightforwardly reasonable, he would be brutally frank but not threatening.
With all the stresses and problems Coco encounters on the set, he should be assertive and always on his toes to the point of being direct.
Navarro should have known better the tensions visiting and hovering in the air in production shoots so he should understand the temperament if his co-actors.
As a matter of fact, Coco is just challenging him to withstand the demands of the profession.
