Action superhero and Filipino Senator Lito Lapid will receive the American Asia International Awards in Hollywood, California on November 24, 2024.
Lapid will be given the 2024 Most Loved Public Servant Enduring Filipino Actor of the Year for his invaluable contributions to nation-building back home.
According to Alfred Yumul, Chief Executive officer (CEO) of AmerAsia International Awards, Sen. Lapid is recognized for his expansive experiences as a superstar in Philippine movies, as a public servant who became Vice-Governor and three-term Governor of Pampanga and three-term Senator.
“I would like to dedicate the award to the Lord Almighty, to my family, to my fans and the Filipino nation,” said Lito.
Lapid is known for her role as Supremo in the ABS-CBN daily action caper “Batang Quiapo” which stars Coco Martin with a host of other award-winning actors. (Boy Villasanta)
