Seven wins and counting for Enderun Colleges. 

Jake Garcia provided the spark as Enderun Colleges held off Holy Angel University, 82-76, in the NAASCU season 23 basketball championship at the Enderun Gymnasium in Taguig City.

Garcia fired 18 points on six triples, including four straight three-pointers in the fourth quarter, in 21 minutes of action for the coach Pipo Noundou-mentored Titans, who improved to 7-0 and took a solo lead in standings.

DJ Howe added 16 points, six assists and four rebounds while Paul Malano and Joey Panganiban contributed 14 and 13 points, respectively.

Panganiban also had 14 rebounds, six assists and five steals while Kenneth Oumba chipped in with six points, eight rebounds, four assists and four blocks.

Louise Andrei Lagman led the losing effort for the Angeles-based Golden Guardians of coach Miguel Bituin, who dropped to 1-5.

Lagman scored 17 points on 6-of-21 shooting, three assists and two rebounds in 33 minutes of play while Joren Mark Gegante had 14 points, four assists and three rebounds.

David Diego Alfaro added 11 points, five rebounds and two assists while Charles Ajie, Brod Wilson Soriano, and Carl Edward Timbol chipped in nine points each.

Ajie also had 16 rebounds and three assists.

The Taguig-based Titans had nine steals to four and six blocks to zero against Golden Guardians.

Meanwhile, New Era University escaped University of Makati, 68-66.

Vincent Nablo spearheaded the Quezon City-based Hunters of coach Jay Agsalud with 22 points to improve their record to 3-4.

Nablo went 8-of-16 shooting, five assists and two steals in 33 minutes of action while John Bryan Lalica added a double-double performance of 14 points and 14 rebounds.

John Mark Labio and Isaac Aurellana contributed nine and eight points, respectively.

Enzo Montecastro and Yhano Micorhain Lacsarum scored 13 points each in the losing effort of coach Noy Pido-mentored Herons, who dropped to 2-4.

Axel Rosales added 10 points while Joshua Andrhei Beruelo contributed eight points and seven rebounds.
