The Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office is raising the stakes as it ushers in 2026, promising bigger thrills and greater winning potential for lottery players nationwide.
Beginning February 1, minimum jackpot prizes across all major PCSO lotto games will significantly increase, giving every ticket a stronger chance at becoming a life-changing win right from the opening draw. Under the updated prize structure, Lotto 6/42 will now start at ₱10 million, Mega Lotto 6/45 at ₱15 million, Super Lotto 6/49 at ₱25 million, Grand Lotto 6/55 at ₱45 million, and Ultra Lotto 6/58 at a massive ₱75 million.
PCSO clarified that while the starting prizes are higher, the progressive jackpot system remains intact. This means jackpots will continue to grow with every draw that produces no winner, climbing to even more staggering amounts until someone finally matches all six numbers.
PCSO General Manager Melquiades Robles said the move is designed to inject more excitement into every draw while enhancing the overall value for players. He explained that the higher starting jackpots are meant to create a more attractive risk-to-reward balance, even as ticket prices undergo a measured adjustment.
“These higher starting jackpots reflect our commitment to keeping the games exciting while ensuring the long-term sustainability of our charitable initiatives,” Robles said. “Every ticket purchased is not just a chance to win; it’s a contribution to the nation’s welfare.”
Beyond the allure of bigger prizes, PCSO emphasized that increased participation directly translates to greater funding for its core mandate—supporting health care, medical assistance, and social welfare programs that benefit millions of Filipinos nationwide.
As anticipation builds for the first draws under the new prize structure, PCSO reminded the public to play responsibly, stay informed of official draw schedules, and rely only on authorized PCSO channels for accurate results.
