Everything is heading towards the road to full recovery.
That is what Queen of All Media Kris Aquino and one of her most trusted writer-friends Dindo Balares have been harping on social media appearances.
According to Dindo, it’s obvious in Kris’ physical looks that she is on the speedy healing process from life-threatening autoimmune diseases she has been suffering from for years.
“Kita sa kanyang mga braso at mukha ang patuloy na improvement sa kanyang(It’s evident in her arms and face the consistent improvement on her) body mass,” said Balares.
In her Instagram posts, Kris (born Kristina Bernadette Cojuangco Aquino), concurred she’s still in the hospital but hoping against hope she’d be discharged anytime.
Just the same, though, she is a picture perfect of a relieved person from her worries, anxieties and fears in the past because of the doctors’ advice that she could go home.
It’s her birthday five days from now which falls on 0Saturday, Valentine’s Day.
You know how birthdays and Valentines are occasions to bring to celebrators flowers.
Yet Kris has an urgent request from her admirers: “Please don’t bring me flowers because my allergy might recur,” she quipped.
Here, she opened up about love and romance without consciously referring to Valentine’s.
Would she be dateless on the Day of Hearts?
She is purportedly alluding to something if not someone about relationships and knowing herself better.
“…i’ve learned which moments to treasure and that love and friendship need to be reciprocal if you want them to last. Walang (No such thing as) perfect narelationship but if you are willing to live with and learn to laugh at each other’s quirks then you have a chance to go the distance,” she noted.
Is she calling out for someone—a doctor—who has inspired her to the extent of bonding with him during her treatment?
“And remember to fight fair, nobody should play the victim not if you truly love one another. Nobody is ever too busy to carve out a 10-minute text exchange or a 5-minute call to check on each other. My best girl friends and I always start our WhatsApp messages with ‘how are you’?” she insinuated.
She clarified, though: “For now my priority is my health.”
Being out or still at St. Luke’s Medical Center at Bonifacio Global City in Taguig at this point, Aquino is looking for indoor swimming pools or any physical rehab centers or hotels that offer health club memberships.
She is also searching for homes in the vicinity of Makati which also have big patios that’s near hospitals like St. Luke’s Global, MMC, Asian Hospital, Medical City or Cardinal Santos, enough for travel in thirty minutes inclusive of traffic when medical needs arise.
“…This is my life’s new reality. But in order for me to continue being brave, i need to do slowly what i love until i am stronger,” she mused.
Kris’ objective is to do weekly podcast interviews which she is meticulously preparing.
Meanwhile, Aquino’s fellow birthday celebrant on Valentine’s Day Heart Evangelista is still in Paris and most probably will celebrate her forty-first year right in the middle of a fashion hub with her mom Cecille Ongpauco.
