The socio-civic fraternal organization Eagles has gone a long way.
It has continuously invited and accepted explorers to its expanding membership.
Thanks to Danilo H. Raymundo, also known as Nilo Raymundo or “Haring Agila Nilo Raymundo,” dad of pop idols Rannie and Lance Raymundo and husband of veteran actress Nina Zaldua.
For everyone’s information, Nilo Raymundo was the Founder of the Fraternal Order of Eagles.
According to Lance, his father was a big thinker who never gave up until his dream came true.
“Ang dami-dami na lang ngayon na units ng Eagles, hindi na natin ang alam ang totoo (Today, there are many orgs sporting Eagles we cannot distinguish which is genuine,” opined Lance.
The proof of the pudding is in the eating, anyway.
Like the Philippine Eagles YAKAP, Inc. which recently held an investiture ceremony of national officers headed by its National President, who publicist Patrick Bonales referred to as Kuya (a term of endearment to an older man or brother by blood or affinity) Ariel Donceras, National Vice President Kuya Xavier Aringo, and PENAPLE Chairman Kuya Jeff Maravilla.
Hopefully, this unit can give tribute to the Raymundos, especially to Rannie and Lance who are living witnesses to the founding of the mother org.
This time, YAKAP aims to strengthen brotherhood among members and enhance community service.
