Volvo Philippines launches XC90, XC60.

Volvo Philippines unveiled its two premium PHEV SUVs — the XC90 and XC60 – during the recent Volvo Philippines’ ALIVE: Bringing the World of Volvo to Life event held at the Grand Ballroom of the Solaire Resort in Paranaque City.

The Volvo XC90 PHEV, Volvo’s flagship SUV, embodies refined strength—designed for professionals and families who seek space, presence, and understated prestige. With its commanding proportions, luxurious three-row seating, and premium finishes, the XC90 is a symbol of stability and sophisticated leadership.

The XC90 PHEV offers the smart benefits of electric driving with the dependable reach of hybrid technology. With up to 77 kilometers of pure electric range, it is ideal for daily journeys that deliver quiet, efficient performance. And when distance calls, the 2.0L 4-cylinder petrol engine provides confidence, ensuring drivers can exceed the distance with ease.

On the other hand, the new Volvo XC60 Plug-in Hybrid — a high-breed SUV that combines efficient electric performance with long-ride-ready petrol power is the perfect choice for those who seek to make the everyday exceptional while staying ready for life’s extraordinary moments.

The XC60 PHEV’s advanced powertrain delivers up to 80 kilometers of pure electric range for quiet, efficient, and emission-free city journeys. And when adventure calls, its 2.0L 4-cylinder petrol engine works in tandem with an electric rear motor to deliver an advanced e-AWD system, ensuring confident and efficient performance over longer distances.

“The new Volvo XC60 Plug-in Hybrid is for those who choose to raise the bar — versatile and ready for the everyday, prepared for life’s big moments, and designed to protect what matters most. It’s a high-breed SUV for drivers who value smart performance and responsible leadership on the road,” Agudo said.

These two new products are now being sold at: XC90 T8 Ultra Plug-in Hybrid – P5,450,000; XC60 T8 Ultra Plug-in Hybrid – P4,550,000; EX30 CORE RWD Pure Electric – P2,350,000; EX30 ULTRA RWD Extended Range Pure Electric – P2,690,000.

At Volvo, we see every innovation as an expression of leadership that values life, and a shared responsibility to shape mobility with a mindset for care. Safety isn’t just what we build. It is founded on a simple principle: to use technology to continuously improve lives, with safety and sustainability as part of our DNA,” Perez-Agudo said.
