Younger bro plans to marry gf two years after sis Mara Lopez ties the knot with American bf in PH in Nov

It’s official.

Young Filipina actress Mara Lopez is marrying her American fiance Chandler Booth in an idyllic wedding in El Nido, Palawan in the Philippines in November.

Mara and Chandler have been engaged for one year.

This Mara’s younger brother Ken Yokohama knows too well.

Ken–the youngest son of actress and 1982 Binibining Pilipinas-Universe Maria Isabel Lopez and former husband, Japanese Hiroshi Yokohama–still carries with him the Filipino tradition of non-sharing of marriage within a year with a sibling so he’s planning if not delaying his wedding with girfriend Nicole Belmonte.

“I will get married two years after Mara’s wedding,” Ken firmly said at the opening of “Screenscapes,” a collective art show at the White Room Gallery in Seamei Innotech of showbiz artists which include her mom Maribel.

It means, the Yokohama bachelor and Nicole will tie the knot in 2026 yet.

His foresight isn’t only hinged in superstition but in realistic and practical senses as well.

Love is indeed always in the air with Ken and Belmonte.

While the gentleman is engaged in electronics and Information Technology (IT) engineering, a course he finished at the De La Salle University in Taft Avenue, the lady is employed in a Human Resources (HR) field.

As Mara and Chandler are preparing for their red-letter-day eleven months from now, Ken is wishing her older sister the best of luck.
