While artist Ihman Esturco is in the Philippines for a short vacation from his photography work and producing concerts in the US, he is able to get a meaty role in ABS-CBN’s “Batang Quiapo.”
“Habang nasa Pilipinas po, puwede namang gumawa ng TV show o pelikula. Kahit siguro theater (While in the Philippines, it’s okay to do TV show or film. I think even theater),” exclaimed Ihman.
Even if being casted in a highly-rated action caper is an elusive thing, Basas Esturco is served with an offer on a silver platter.
Not only because Coco Martin, the main actor of the TV action-drama, is Ihman’s best friend and former protégé, doesn’t mean that the US-based actor can easily land a role in the show.
Ihman is also a talented actor.
As a matter of fact, he started his acting career onstage. That is why Ihman met up with actor and stage producer Ernie Garcia to catch up with the theater world.
Ihman plays a fierce security aide of Vice Mayor Olivia Guerrero Torres (Chanda Romero). “As Lorenzo, I am the relentless force shaking up Vice Mayor Olivia Guerrero Torres’ world, pushing her to the edge with every move. The tension is boiling over, and the battle is just beginning,” he informed.
