Changan receives international accolade

Changan Motor Philippines, Inc. (CMPI), the official distributor of Changan vehicles in the country, received the “Excellence of Service” award during the 2023 Changan Automobile Overseas Partner Conference held last April 20 at the Changan Research and Development Center in Chongqing, China. 

CMPI president and CEO Maria Fe Perez-Agudo received the award alongside fellow distributors from Kuwait, Pakistan, and Peru. “We are honored and grateful for this latest achievement. This award confirms the ‘proof beyond vision’ of our brand. In terms of service, we are now ever more driven to enhance the ownership experience through services that meet the needs of today’s motorists. And, in terms of product, we are proud of our growing roster of excellently built, powerful, and tech-loaded vehicles that are out to satisfy customer preferences,” Agudo said.

The award signifies recognition on the part of CIC that CMPI is ready to further the Changan global overseas expansion strategy, as announced at the 2023 Shanghai International Automotive Industry Exhibition.

CMPI opened 2023 with phenomenal 221% growth in sales, driven by the popular New CS35 Plus and the Alsvin. In the first quarter of 2023, Changan Auto cut an even stronger online presence, backed by a fast-growing network of 18 dealerships and a highly interactive community of 40 car clubs. The company looks forward to more wins with its first salvo of vehicles carrying the latest Changan Vision-V design language, the Uni crossovers Uni-T and Uni-K, the New CS55 Plus and the reliable New CS35 Plus and Alsvin.
