Who is Ihman Esturco?
Ihman Esturco is an artist, a former actor in the Philippines and the discoverer of Coco Martin’s second season in showbiz.
He is now based in the US.
Ihman and Coco have developed a unique friendship of long standing.
Whenever he is in town, Martin pays him a visit and they paint the town red.
This time around, Coco showered him with surprise birthday party.
It was even he who prepared for the venue, food and drinks and called on special guests to the occasion especially men and women (of nineteen years ago), behind the landmark film “Masahista (The Masseur)” which launched his acting career to solo stardom and catapulted him to greater heights of popularity.
Ihman was overwhelmed with his friend’s generosity. “Unforgettable surprises and game-changing moments made my birthday celebration truly special!
“Deng aka Coco Martin, thank you⁹,” Esturco noted in his Facebook wall.
“Masahista” director, now internationslly acclaimed filmmaker Brillante Ma. Mendoza, led the entourage with Coco’s co-stars Alan Paule and Jaclyn Jose.
Emerging creative producer in the early millennium Ferdy Lapuz was also around.
Martin’s fellow actor and everyone’s friend Julio Diaz shared nostalgia moments with his favorite crowd.
“I was also surprised by the presence of Glen Dela Cruz, whom I’ve been searching for a long time. He was my partner in finding the producer for ‘Masahista’ and also became the line producer. He is the Man! Heheheehe
“Too bad Instrella Ed, who was my mentor during the time we were working on the MASAHISTA FILM, couldn’t make it and also Domingo Almoete who became the bridge for us to meet the film producer, Baby Gelling,” recalled Ihman.
Esturco thanked close family and friends like Lotlot De Leon and her husband, Lauren Novero, Dante Balboa, Paul Racab, Adriane Tungcab and Arnold Santos Argaño.
“And of course, the one and only CHUBA. Hehehehe,” chuckled Ihman who referred to his beloved confidante.
He hoped for another celebration next year.
