Chooks-to-Go picks ‘Bossing’ as new celebrity endorser

For many years now, comedian and television host Vic “Bossing” Sotto has served as the trusted champion of countless products, ranging from homecare items to local beverages. His charisma and character, both on- and off-camera, have made him, and the corporations behind the products he endorses, very credible among consumers.

One of these companies is Bounty Agro Ventures Inc. (Bavi), the Philippines’ second-largest poultry integrator, which tapped Sotto as the newest brand endorser of Chooks-to-Go, the country’s leading and fastest-growing oven-roasted chicken chain that currently has over a thousand stores nationwide.

With its “Hindi ka nag-uuwi ng ulam na basta-basta lang” campaign that’s built on the premise that Chooks-to-Go is “masarap, kahit walang sauce,” Bavi and Bossing are bringing ready-to-go, high-quality oven-roasted chicken closer to Filipino mothers as their take-home meal of choice that will surely delight the family.

“When you say ‘ready-to-go’ and ‘quality food,’ it should come with a great serving, taste, and nutrition. Importante ‘yon, kasi hindi puwedeng basta-basta lang ang maiuwing pagkain para sa pamilya,” Sotto said.

Kung gusto mo ng manok, there’s Chooks-to-Go. Malaman ang manok nila, hindi basta-basta. And the best part, ‘pag hinain mo na, ‘yon na ‘yon. Hindi mo na kailangan ng sauce.”

As an admirer of hardworking Filipinos, especially moms, Bossing recognizes their efforts to provide food on the table.

Basta hardworking, ako’y saludo, especially to moms, because they exert double effort,” the comedian said. “That’s why, for the times when they can’t cook and kids want delicious food, dumaan ka lang sa Chooks-to Go, OK ka na.”

Practical, affordable, and delicious, Chooks-to-Go’s top-quality oven-roasted chicken brings to many Filipino households a meal so fresh and healthy that even Sotto couldn’t avoid.

“Personally, I didn’t think twice about promoting this product because Chooks-to-Go [chicken] is also my wife’s favorite,” Sotto admitted, referring to Eat Bulaga co-host Pauleen Luna, whom he married in January. “Aside from the taste, the price of one whole chicken for the family is reasonable. Kayang-kaya, eh. Ayos ka na, nag-enjoy ka na, nasarapan ka pa, at nakatipid ka pa!

Endorsing is one thing, but attesting to a product as a part of one’s daily life is a different story. And with Bossing’s proven and reliable track record of promoting a product or brand he uses and trusts, families are in for a treat as moms are set to bring home the “hindi lang basta-basta take-home” meal, but Chooks-to-Go’s oven-roasted chicken that’s always delicious, even without a sauce.

“We are very excited to have Vic as our endorser, because he really believes in the products he promotes,” Bavi President Ronald Mascariñas said. “With Chooks-to-Go and Bossing together, we have a great opportunity to support hardworking moms with a take-home ulam of choice that’s affordable, healthy, and delicious.”
