Designer clothes, shoes, accessories, bags, and toys that were previously owned by top celebrities and their friends shall be sold, up to 80-percent off, at Caritas Manila’s first Celebrities and Friends Luxury Brands Sale at the Glorietta 5 Atrium, Ayala Center, Makati City on December 13 and 14 at 3 p.m.
The celebrities who donated items are Kris Aquino, Anne Curtis-Smith, Vice Ganda, Sarah Geronimo, Toni Gonzaga-Soriano, Iza Calzado, Derek Ramsay, Ruffa Gutierrez, Julia Montes, Dr. Vicki Belo, Hayden Kho, Scarlet Snow Belo, Cristalle Belo-Pitt, Bang Pineda, Tim Yap, Katrina Ponce Enrile, Team Kramer (Doug, Cheska, Kendra, Scarlett and Gavin), Bamboo, Sam YG, Teacher Georcelle of the G-Force, Denise Laurel, JC Intal and Fashion Pulis, and Michael Sy Lim.
The items on sale are from top-end brands, such as Hermes, Chanel, Prada, Givenchy, Valentino, Louis Vuitton, Gucci, Lanvin, Versace, Dolce & Gabbana, Fendi, Ermenegildo Zegna, Coach, Bally, Burberry, Issey Miyake, Armani Exchange, Hugo Boss, Lacoste, Comme de Garcons, Atsuro Tayama, Anne Klein, Massimo Dutti, Josie Natori, Abercrombie & Fitch, Nike, Adidas, Uniqlo, Hurley, H&M, The Gap, Topshop, Forever 21, Zara, and New Balance.
All proceeds from the sale, and the entrance fee
of P250 per person, will go to Caritas Manila’s Youth Servant Leadership and Education Program (YSLEP), which aims to provide quality education for the poor.
Christmas carols will be sung by YSLEP scholars; Gawad Kalinga’s Tatalon Choir; and La Salle Greenhills’ Kundirana, the most renowned high-school singing group in the Philippines.
Caritas Manila, led by Executive Director Fr. Anton C.T. Pascual, and together with Manila Archbishop Luis Antonio Cardinal Tagle, aims to make this celebrity charity sale an annual event to celebrate the spirit of Christmas by sharing God’s #LoveInAbundance with the poor.
