Satirist and actor Willie Nepomuceno passes away

It’s curtain call for famed impersonator and comedian Willie Nepomuceno.

Willie, also known as WillieNep, died early morning of July 26, 2023 of still undisclosed cause.

According to his son, Willie Wilsson Nepomuceno, the announcement of his dad’s demise was with deep sadness and with a heavy heart.

Still, Willie Wilsson bid his father adieu with fond memories. “Farewell, Tatay (Father). Though it’s incredibly hard to say goodbye, I am grateful for the time we had together. Your love, guidance, and presence in my life have shaped me into the person I am today. 

“I will forever treasure the memories we created, the laughter we shared, and the lessons you taught me.

“Thank you, Tatay, for your unwavering love and for being an incredible father. Your legacy will forever be engraved in my heart. Rest well, knowing that you are deeply loved and missed,” said Wilsson.

The young Nepomuceno encouraged his dad’s fans, colleagues, kith and kin to celebrate instead the life lived by WillieNep.

“Before we draw WILLIE NEPOMUCENO’s final curtain, let us take the time to celebrate his wonderful life.

“Viewing begins at 3pm tomorrow at the Paket Santiago Funeral Homes, located in San Roque, Marikina City.

“Thank you,” wrote Wilsson on his Facebook wall.

WillieNep was 75.
