Imelda Papin admits she always wears red; BBM inducts her and Actors Guild’s officers

Asia’s Sentimental Songstress Imelda Papin doesn’t deny she’s a loyalist of the Marcoses and it shows in her manner of dressing red–the color identified with the family of the deposed president.

“Yes, I always wear red or shades of red,” Imelda admitted when asked if she never skips wearing red.

During the “Reb Belleza It’s All Connected” art exhibit by actor and visual artist Dranreb Belleza at the Art Circuit inside the Bahay ng Alumni building at the University of the Philippines in Diliman, Papin was in black pants and a predominantly red shirt with dark ensemble.

At the induction of the officers of the Katipunan ng mga Artista ng Pelikulang Pilipino at Telebisyon (KAPPT) or Actors Guild of the Philippines which she leads as president, Mel was in red terno.

President Ferdinand R. Marcos, Jr. was the Inducting officer of the group.

Malacanang, was star-studded during the swearing of the officers of the guild that included Rez Cortez, Jeffrey Santos, Lynn Madrigal, Hero Bautista, Gerry Roman, Rhene Imperial, among others.

La Papin said she has a bevy of red clothes to celebrate life as well.

In her ever produced film “Loyalista,” Imelda will also be wearing a lot of red or hues of red in scenes adapted to the shades of thd color.

The film which also features Claudine Barretto as the young Imelda is slated to shoot additional scenes on Sunday, August 13, 2023 at the Camp Emilio Aguinaldo in Murphy District in Quezon City.

“It will be a big scene where I return to the Philippines from Hawaii,” informed Mel.
