There are dream models and there are dream models.
There are also your regular professional mannequins.
In this equation, young fashion designer Erick Valena shuttles between two poles.
Assistant to veteran fashion artist Albert Figueras, Erick has had numerous celebrity models like Pilita Corrales, Kuh Ledesma, Eugene Domingo, Karylle, among many others.
“Meron din po ako mga pro na kahit wala pang pangalan pero maaasahan (I also have professional models although they aren’t popular yet but dependable and competency)” qualified Valena.
Erick hasn’t individually worked with actress Max Eigenmann because it is his friend who mostly concentrates on her.
Max is Eruck’s dream model.
“Gusto kong bihisan si Max. Ibang klase siya (I would like to dress her up. She’s a different breed),” observed Valena.
He wanted to get Eigeanman for his bridal gown for :Bridal.Expo Metro South” at the Festival Mall in Filinvest Amababv which starts today and ends on Sunday, February 23, 2025 but the hierarchy of the organization–its members all young fashion workers–chose the models to don their designers’ dresses.
Erick got to dress up Eloisa Jauod, Miss San Pedro, one of this year’s Laguna representatives to the 2025 Miss Universe Philippines.
