J&T Express Philippines uplifts community spirit through Brigada Eskwela 2025

Metro Manila, Philippines — In the spirit of bayanihan and as the country prepares for the new school year, J&T Express Philippines joined the Department of Education’s Brigada Eskwela 2025, lending its hands and hearts to help create better learning environments for students across three regions in the country, namely the National Capital Region (NCR), the Davao Region, and Region IV-A (CALABARZON).

In Marikina City, J&T Express Philippines employees spent their day at Parang Elementary School, working alongside teachers, parents, and volunteers to repaint walls, clean school grounds, and fix up classrooms. But more than physical improvements, it was about being present for the students and reminding them that their dreams matter.

At the same time, in Davao del Norte, J&T Express Philippines launched a special back-to-school project for 100 students from four elementary schools: Magdum, New Visayas, Cambanogoy, and Apokon Elementary School. Through a partnership with 97.5 Brigada News FM Tagum City, the team distributed school supplies to children who needed them most. The goal was to help kids return to school equipped and excited, while also building deeper connections within the local community.

“At J&T Express Philippines, we see Brigada Eskwela as more than just a yearly initiative, it’s a heartfelt movement that brings people together for a common goal, to uplift our students and teachers. By showing up and lending a hand, we hope to help create learning spaces where children feel supported and inspired. It’s our way of giving back to the communities that have always trusted us,” said Penelope Maxine Bolor, Branding Department Representative of J&T Express Philippines.
