Hilton’s Canopy brand to debut in Makati in 2026

Ayala Land Hospitality is teaming up with global hotel giant Hilton to open the Philippines’ first Canopy by Hilton in Makati City by 2026.

Rising above the new One Ayala development, the 24-story hotel will offer 400 rooms and suites designed to blend sleek urban escapes with spacious accommodations.

Ayala Land Hospitality president and CEO George Aquino said the collaboration aims to deliver stays that inspire curiosity and showcase Filipino creativity, while boosting the country’s profile as a must-visit destination.

Hilton vice president for development in Southeast Asia Maria Ariizumi said Metro Manila is ready for a fresh lifestyle hotel concept, adding that Canopy’s vibrant approach will appeal to both local and international travelers.

Hilton area vice president and regional head of Southeast Asia Alexandra Murray described Makati as a perennial favorite for its mix of urban sophistication, culture, and lifestyle experiences.
