Kaspersky Lab and Switzerland-based cybersecurity company WISeKey has announced the release of a special edition of cyberresilience app WISeID Kaspersky Lab Security. This new edition integrates the best technologies from both companies to offer mobile users safer and more reliable mobile communications and transactions.
The WISeID Kaspersky Lab Security cyberresilience edition locks personal data, such as account usernames and passwords, credit-card numbers, and access personal identification numbers into a secure personal data organizer, creating accountable identities for online activity while the data themselves remain protected in a secure cloud vault.
Mobile security threats are increasing in number and sophistication, with hackers looking for ways to hijack mobile gadgets for Bitcoin mining, or to trick mobile-phone users into giving up their personal identity and bank-account information.
