Interested buyers may register once at the e-bidding portal or through the “Assets for Sale” icon on PDIC’s official website (www.pdic.gov.ph). Registered participants can then submit their bids online.
PDIC encouraged prospective bidders to check the property catalog on the e-bidding portal, which contains the complete list, descriptions, requirements, and terms of sale. Buyers are also advised to conduct due diligence to verify the condition, ownership, and status of the assets.
As receiver of closed banks, PDIC liquidates their remaining assets to help settle creditors’ claims, including uninsured deposits. Proceeds from the sale of closed bank-owned properties go to the fund managed for closed banks, while revenues from corporate assets are added to the Deposit Insurance Fund, which pays valid deposit insurance claims.
