Original singer of “Pusong Bato” Aimee Torres shocked at her composer’s death

There was a not-so-good coincidence between the death of Renee de la Rosa, also known as Alon, composer of the cult hit song “Pusong Bato” and what was happening in the family singer-actress Aimee Torres, the ditty’s original interpreter on a single day.

While Renee was being rushed to several hospitals but was refused by at least, twenty nine of them, because of his suffering from pneumonia and later breathed his last, Aimee was sending his younger brother Bryan to a hospital because of stomach pain.

Torres had learned of her musical mentor’s sudden death through the social media and she quickly responded in an online reaction: “May his soul rest in peace.”

Aimee was stunned for a while when she learned of Alon’s passing.

A rejoinder SMS message was sent when she was asked her memorable thoughts on Alon: “Text ko po kayo mamaya nasa (I’ll text you later we’re in a hospital emergency) po kami dahil brother ko po si Bryan may gallbladder stone po sumakit (my brother has complained of pain because of a gallbladder stone).”

Aimee’s follow up reaction: “I had moved forward a long time ago, and I hope he did the same.”

Torres was referring to her family and Alon’s misunderstanding some years back when he recorded their popular song when she was the one promoting it. To top it all, de la Rosa, asserted the Torreses, was paid for his composition.

The issue is already water under the bridge.

Meanwhile, after Aimee’s brother was brought to the hospital, he was under observation for a day.

At the moment, Bryan has already entered the operating room at the De La Salle University Hospital in Dasmarinas, Cavite and everyone hoped that his going under the knife would be successful.
