Beauty-actress Maria Isabel Lopez comes home, shoots a TV drama for ABS-CBN

After almost a year of home visit from the US during the COVID-19 pandemic, beauty queen and actress Maria Isabel Lopez is back in the Philippines.

In a virtual forum held recently on “Sex Cinema and Society” which had a subtopic “Philippine Sex Cinema and Literature, Maria Isabel disclosed that she is in town for a number of reasons.

“I came back to shoot a teleserye—television series—for ABS-CBN. Yes, I am back to work after almost three years,” said Lopez.

“I am also attending to some personal matters,” she added.

She’s around to update and to sign some official documents like property ownership on her behalf.

“I also brought home the ashes of my mom who died in the US last year,” shared Maribel.

The award-winning thespian is currently shooting “Love in 40 Days,” the newest TV drama which top bills romantic couple Loisa Andalio and Ronnie Alonte.

Maria Isabel’s mother, classical singer Crescencia Lopez, died of old age in California whose remains the daughter has to inurn and to keep safe with the remains of her dad, her mom’s husband.
