Life goes on and it’s business as usual for Okada Manila after the KAZUO OKADA Group’s enforcement of the Status Quo Ante Order last May 31, 2022. The KAZUO OKADA / TONYBOY COJUANGCO group wasted no time in putting back into high gear the day-to-day operations of the Philippines’ largest Integrated Resort.
Immediately upon the reinstatement of Chairman KAZUO OKADA and his new Board, a Town Hall meeting was held on June 6 where Chairman OKADA personally addressed Okada Manila’s Top Management, Senior Officers and Team Members. Chairman OKADA who is fondly called “Daddy O” by Okada Manila employees was so elated to see the faces of the employees who attended the Town Hall Meeting and made it a point to personally greet each and everyone of them in what felt more like his milestone homecoming at the Integrated Resort, built on his vision in 2007. During the Town Hall Meeting, Chairman OKADA emphasized that he and his board will be more focused on the employees’ welfare, ensure that the day-to-day operations of the hotel is topnotch, and signature offerings such as sumptuous dining experiences, a diversified range of venues for all types of celebrations and events, as well as the Resort’s outstanding gaming attractions.
To date, the integrated resort enjoys over 90% occupancy rate during weekdays and an even higher number on weekends. The hotel’s various restaurants have been at full capacity and its Casinos are expecting more people to flock to its gambling venues as Travel restrictions in both Local and International sectors ease up. Okada Manila continues to draw major business and social events, and has hosted several International Beauty pageants like Ms. Universe, Ms. World and Mr. International. The Malaya 2022 Local Music Festival, a property initiative, is slated this June at Cove Manila. To date, tickets reportedly to be sold out already. Another major project that is very close to Chairman Okada’s heart is the re-launching of The Fountain set in the third quarter of 2022. Chairman Okada has been personally hands-on and involved in the preparations leading up to the relaunch.
With the property’s operations in full gear and abuzz with activities, Chairman OKADA plans to sustain the positive gains that Okada Manila has achieved so far. He also revealed that he still has more amazing plans for Okada Manila that will bring Okada Manila to greater heights of success during the 2nd half of 2022. Chairman OKADA will focus on addressing the needs of the property’s hard working employees and loyal customers. With a focused plan to attain greater success, Chairman OKADA said “they haven’t seen nothin’ yet and that the best is yet to come at Okada Manila”.
