NCSC Annual Team-building and Commissioners En Banc Meeting

The 3-day National Commission of Senior Citizens (NCSC) annual Team-building and Commissioners’ En Banc Meeting started here today with a rare mix of strategic planning, assessment and celebration for the holiday season.

Day one activities include the NCSC 2022 year-end assessment and team-building, which focussed on the essential plans and goals towards the progressive development and thrusts towards appropriate execution and enhancements of what its leaders and staff intend to achieve for the year 2023.

Having these goals in their hearts and minds, the NCSC is up to the challenge not only with serious work and dedication but also with fun and enjoyment while working as one family.

Part of the day-long activity is the final Commissioners’ en banc meeting for the year, presided by NCSC Chairman Franklin Quijano and attended by Commissioners Ida Yap-Patron, Enriqueta Rodeles, Edwin Espejo, Rainier Cruz and Reymar Mansilungan.

A keynote speech was later delivered by Chairman Quijano followed by inspiring words of wisdom and guiding messages from all commissioners.

A fun-filled evening of songs, nourishment, gift-giving and laughter capped the night as the NCSC family celebrated its Christmas Party on one unforgettable night at the enchanting Bauang beach of La Union province. (Photo and video editing credits to Cliff Cabigon and Ian Celis.)
