JETOUR AUTO, a brand within the Chery Holdings Group, will be entering the Philippine market through a different local distributor – a partnership between the Gateway Group and the AutoSpeedyGo.
Established only in 2018 in China, Jetour will finally introduced its 3-vehicle lineup during the Manila International Auto Show (MIAS) this April.
Sources said vehicles to be included in the launch are the the X70 and X70 Plus (both 7-seater SUVs) and the Dashing 5-seater SUV.
The Jetour Philippines will be headed by Yves Jovincci Licup as its president while Michael Goho will serve as its vice president. Designated as its managing director is Miguelito Jose.
Several locations are being eyed for its dealership network including Manila, Alabang, Quezon City, and San Juan, Cebu.
Gateway Group and AutoSpeedyGo are both multi-brand dealership groups. The Licup group has dealerships of Chery, MG, Nissan, Geely, and Chevrolet. On the other hand, Goho has its Gateway Motors Group that deals with almost every brand in the country such as Mitsubishi, Honda, Nissan, Suzuki, Kia, Hyundai, BMW, Peugeot, MG, Geely, Chery, Subaru, Chevrolet, Changan, Volvo, Maxus, GAC, Volkswagen, Foton, and Fuso.
