Honda hones technicians’ skills

HONDA Cars dealerships and service centers have highly skilled technicians and dedicated staff using state-of-the-art tools and equipment.

As Honda aims to improve and expand its after-sales service, the brand regularly conducts development programs and other improvement initiatives for dealer associates to enhance superior customer satisfaction throughout the network. Through programs such as the National Skills Contest (NSC), Periodic Maintenance Services (PMS) at authorized Honda dealerships guarantee not only genuine parts, lubes, accessories, but also service quality that is aligned with global standards to ensure workmanship and safety.

“The National Skills Contest recognizes the valuable skills of dealer service associates and their contribution to the joy and peace of mind to our customers. We expect that team members throughout the dealership network will uphold their good practices and share their abilities through this program so that we can also enhance customers’ safety while protecting the quality of our products” said Mr. Masahiko Nakamura, president of Honda Cars Philippines, Inc.

Highlighting the competencies for excellent service quality, the recognition program encourages Honda dealer service associates to develop a challenging spirit that would help them continuously strive to improve their skills based on global standards. The final round concluded last Feb. 19 and the awarding ceremony will be at HCPI’s upcoming Dealer Conference.

The winners will represent the Philippines in the Asia Oceania Skills Contest in May 2023 and will have the chance to also participate in the World Skills Contest in October 2023.

Meanwhile, Honda expressed its deepest sympathies and condolences to the victims of the Feb. 6 earthquake near the Turkish-Syrian border.

Honda Motor Co., Ltd. will donate 10 million yen to the Japanese Red Cross Society to support the humanitarian relief and recovery effort in the affected areas. A Honda subsidiary in Europe, namely Honda Motor Europe Ltd., and Honda Turkiye A. S. will donate more than 200 generators as well as essential products to meet the most urgent needs.
