RCBC Economist ranks #1 in Philippine Peso Bonds Research for the second consecutive year

From the latest version of The Asset’s Asian Local Currency Bond Benchmark Review, RCBC Chief Economist Mike Ricafort once again ranked first in  Philippine Peso Bonds Research, retaining his star for two consecutive years. 

RCBC Chief Economist, Michael Ricafort said that RCBC takes the responsibility of providing accurate financial data and forecasts to investors to heart, and this award from The Asset reaffirms this commitment. 

The Asset’s ranking of the region’s best individuals in local currency bonds is now in its 24th year. It provides a wealth of data on the product needs of investors and the market penetration of the banks that are active in local currency bonds, as well as detailed analysis on the investors’ buying behavior when selecting their counterparties, giving unique access into the minds of these investors.

This year, 546 institutional investors participated in voted in the Asian Local Currency Bond Benchmark Review, up 22 percent from 2022 and setting a new record. In aggregate, a total of 652 economists, analysts, salespeople, strategists and traders were singled out for praise.
