SPMJ gives out 2023 ‘Driven To Serve’ Awards

Eight Platinum Driven To Serve Awards were given out by the Society of Motoring Journalists (SPMJ) to recognize the “good deeds” of automotive industry players in 2023. 

For 2023, the Platinum Driven To Serve Awards were presented in four categories — education and training, road safety, environmental protection, and community development. Instead of the usual awarding ceremony, SPMJ officers scheduled recent personalized presentations at the offices of the awardees.

The outstanding projects are as follows:

Isuzu Philippines Corporation (Isuzu Heart and Smile Project) -Education and Training 

Ford Group Philippines –  (Ford Auto Mechanic Scholarship Program – Education and Training / (Ford Operation Better World : Building Healthy Communities) Community Development  

Honda Cars Philippines (Recycling of Used Lead Acid Batteries and Used Oil) – Environmental Protection / (Teen Smart With Honda Sensing)- Road Safety / (Innovation Contest for Senior High Schools) – Education and Training 

Trimotors Technology Corporation (Bajaj Philippines) – (Key toServe More Filipinos) –   Community Development
