Kia Philippines celebrated its 5th year in the local automotive scene with a grand media drive featuring the all-new 2024 Kia Seltos, a rejuvenated edition that is very affordable for the young generation of drivers and yet full of new features for such a crossover vehicle.
No less than the chairman of AC Motors Philippines Jaime Alfonso Zobel de Ayala and Kia Philippines chairman Brian Buendia were on hand to meet the big bunch of members of the media who were invited to test-drive the Kia Seltos from AC Centrale in BGC up to Old Grove Farmstead in Lipa, Batangas.
A total of 15 Kia Seltos were driven by more than 60 invited media people, the largest so far that has been invited for a Kia event as the company celebrated its 5th year.
“This is a very significant day for Kia as we celebrate our fifth year and also for the Kia Seltos, whose first edition was also launched on this very same day several years back. The Kia Seltos is our main entry to the subcompact crossover segment for a new generation of owners,” said Zobel.
It was also the very same date when the first generation Kia Seltos was launched by Kia Philippines in the country several years back.
The huge bunch of motoring journalists and online media practitioners was welcomed Kia Philippines president Toti Zara during the breakfast at the AC Centrale in BGC. Then they were herded to the adjacent parking lot where they boarded the 15 Kia Seltos to start te long trek to Batangas. The convoy went through the South Luzon expressway and made a detour to Tagaytay where they passed through the Highlands and went down through the backdoor via Talisay en route to Lipa, Batangas.
The Kia Seltos price starts at P1,198,000.00 for 1.5 LX IVT variant while the 1.5 EVT IVT is atP1,288,000 while the 1.4 SX Turbo DCT is at P1,688,000.00.
