Gateway Group’s Pride Mitsubishi Quezon Avenue

Gateway Group’s Mitsubishi dealership in Quezon Avenue is relatively new but now one of the established and leading showrooms of the very popular car manufacturer in the country today.

Now situated near the iconic Sto. Domingo Church, Mitsubishi Quezon Avenue is acquired by the Gateway Group of the Goho family of Cebu on Nov. 12, 2021 from its former owner, Diamond Motors, and it has grown into a full-blown Mitsubishi dealership over time. It sits on a 3,100 sq meter lot with a huge showroom that is good for 5-car display.

More than 3,000 Mitsubishi vehicles of all types have already been sold by the dealership even before it holds its third year anniversary and more are still being sold every month, making it one of the favorite go-to dealership among the Mitsubishi vehicle diehards.

“We are very proud of this Mitsubishi Quezon Avenue since it exemplifies the true Mitsubishi dealership as envisioned by the car manufacturer. Everything here follows the system set up by Mitsubishi and what we only add is our good and prompt services to our growing clients,” said Markane Goho, the president and chief executive officer of the Gateway Group.

Markane takes pride of the people working within the dealership, many of them are with company since its inception in 2021. “We created a good working atmosphere here that translates to good working relationship with our clients. Our customers are guaranteed full satisfaction with whatever services or whatever Mitsubishi vehicles they wanted,” he added.

The dealership is being handled by its general manager Randie Tungol who was with the Gateway Group since it took over the place. He is backstopped by some 111 able officers and staff in the sales and services departments. “In just more than 2 years of operation we are really very happy to serve a lot of Mitsubishi customers not only here in Quezon City but also from as far as Baguio in the North. We continue to improve our services and we also evolve in our way of attracting customers,” said Tungol.

“Mirage is one of the perennial best-seller but the Xpander is fast catching up and also that of the re-engineered L300. These days, we are pushing the very powerful and head-turner Triton and the soon-to-be-launched XForce,” he said.

The All-New Triton is a fifth generation, one-ton pickup that is sold in approximately 150 countries around the world, making it Mitsubishi Motors’ global strategic model. It expresses toughness and strength expected of a pickup truck, while at the same time demonstrating an imposing look with ruggedness and agility. The interior features a robust, horizontally themed instrument panel that allows drivers to easily see changes in the position of the vehicle while driving. The dials and switches can be operated with ease even when wearing gloves, and the steering wheel, grips and door handles are designed with a focus on grip comfort and sturdiness. Its enhanced suspension is equipped with a new shock-absorption system that guarantees exceptional comfort even in challenging terrains. It is also powered by a 2.4-litre Bi-Turbo diesel engine, featuring a “2-stage” turbo for a robust 204PS and 470Nm maximum torque which unleashes a ride that’s not just responsive but more powerful than ever before.

Gateway’s Mitsubishi Quezon Avenue is having a grand Triton promo with as slow as P79,000 downpayment!

Aside from the showroom, it also has a workshop for services that has 17 lifters and 20 bays and body repair and painting shop at the back.

Vic Bayan, the head of the aftersales department, said they can accommodate quick vehicle services for only 1-1/2 hours. “That is if the vehicle owner has already an approved appointment and all the parts are available. We are aggressive on appointment services in which our telemarketers have a database of all vehicles that come out of this dealership. After a quick estimate, priority is already being made for an appointment. Those walk-ins should wait for their turn to be attended to,” Bayan explained. He added that they can accommodate at least 32 units a day from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. 7 days a week. “Since we are already an established one, some of our clients come from as far as Isabela or Pangasinan,” Bayan said.

Gateway Group’s Mitsubishi Quezon Avenue had already established a name of its own definitely in just a span of nearly 3 years in operation. But it still has a lot of promises to be the No. 1 in the nation as it strives hard in pursuing customer satisfaction in all its businesses.
