ROX Motor unwraps ROX 01 SUV

ROX Motor, a progressive new-energy automotive brand, recently introduced the ROX 01, its first luxury SUV designed and engineered for optimal comfort and exceptional all-terrain capability, while exuding an adventurous but stylish presence on or off the road. 

The 2-variant ROX 01 offers a new era of travel, elevating the driving experience to new heights and virtually eliminating compromise between city life, camping, adventurous exploration, and journeys that span long distances. 

The ROX 01 Sport, designed and equipped to satisfy those who seek serious off-road thrills, have robust 20-inch alloy rims with aggressive all-terrain tires. A standard burly roof rack is for loading up camping gear, supplies and equipment for off-the-grid readiness. It’s even equipped with a heavy-duty front to rear bash-guard to protect the underchassis components. It excels across four key dimensions: all-terrain capability, advanced safety, luxurious comfort, and versatile entertainment. Its front and rear high-efficiency motors deliver 350 kW and 740 Nm of torque, achieving a stunning acceleration time of 0-100 km/h in 5.5 seconds, with a WLTC range of up to 1,115 km. 

On the other hand, the ROX 01 Luxury is the 6-seater model that introduces the industry-first dual-side zero-gravity aviation seats on the second row with an 8-point airbag massage function, with ventilation or heating feature. This is complemented by a customizable 256-color ambient lighting system and multi-screen entertainment.

Safety is a top priority for the ROX 01, as it’s made up of 87% high-strength steel and 32% hot-formed steel for enhanced rigidity and impact resistance. It boasts a torsional stiffness of 40,000 Nm/deg, achieving top ratings in safety tests, including full “G” certification from C-IASI and a five-star CNCAP rating. Active safety features like the AEB collision warning system, six airbags, and advanced battery protection with CATL’s ternary lithium battery ensure maximum safety across all conditions.
