The new Vespa Sprint Tech, integrating cutting-edge technology with timeless design upholds Vespa’s its rich heritage through the iconic look that defines the brand, was launched last week at the Antidote of the I’M Hotel in Makati. Its official price is set at PHP 275,000 for the 150-cc variant. 

At the launch, president of Autohub Group Willy Tee Ten expressed his excitement for the latest addition to Vespa’s lineup: “The New Vespa Sprint Tech is a game-changer in urban mobility by seamlessly blending classic Vespa aesthetics with unparalleled performance. It embodies the spirit of freedom and innovation that has defined Vespa for generations. We are thrilled to bring this masterpiece to the Philippine market.”

The keyless system will be exclusive to the New Vespa Sprint Tech as it allows the rider to keep the key fob pocketed when unlocking, locking, and starting the vehicle. Dedicated buttons on the electronic key open the underseat and allow remote use of the ‘Bike Finder’ function. This feature ensures the vehicle is recognizable even at a distance by activating both turn indicators.

The New Vespa Sprint Tech embodies a modern, unique, and technological spirit with new colorways in black, warm grey, and fluo-green finishing. Brand new lights on both sides of the leg shield back plate make the bike stand out in the crowd when the rider clicks ‘Bike finder’, or when starting the bike.

The updated dashboard is now broadened to 5 inches and is available in full color for both day mode and night mode. Connecting the vehicle to smartphones via the Vespa app or the Vespa MIA device also provides the rider with access to a range of functions. Rider safety is ensured through intuitive notifications displayed on the instrument panel that show all the management and connectivity info including incoming phone calls, missed calls, messages, music management, social media notifications, and turn-by-turn GPS navigation.

Navigation is integrated into the Sprint range for the first time with the New Vespa Sprint Tech. This vital feature revolutionizes the rider’s experience with enhanced convenience and precision: once the destination is set in the app, navigation details are displayed on the vehicle’s dashboard, including time and distance to the destination, current itinerary selected, and alternative routes.
