Alvin Buenaventura of the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) and Jericho Baculi from Bayanihan Sands were crowned grand champions at the 11th CAMI Clark Golf Cup on February 28. Buenaventura claimed the Best Gross title, while Baculi won Best Net.
The tournament, held at Mimosa Golf Course, was organized by the Capampangan in Media Inc. (CAMI) in partnership with Clark Development Corporation (CDC) and Quest Plus Hotel. The Tee Off was led by Police Major General Lina Castillo Sarmiento of CDC and Arsenio “Arni” N. Valdes of JDN Realty.
Major sponsors included RASLAG Corporation, PAGCOR, PCSO, MERALCO, and Quest Plus. Other notable sponsors were GCash, Prime Water, DBP, CIGNAL, and local government units from Pampanga, Tarlac, Angeles City, and Mabalacat City.
CAMI aims to promote golf as a key activity for health and wellness, with proceeds supporting various charitable programs, including medical services for members and indigents. CAMI is a non-profit organization of journalists, led by Chairman Emeritus Federico “Dik” Pascual and Chairman Nonnie Pelayo.
