Honda Philippines, Inc. (HPI), the No. 1 motorcycle manufacturer in the country, officially unveiled the all-new PCX160 at the Honda Safety Driving Center and offered media representatives, vloggers, and motoring content creators with an immersive experience by allowing them to test ride the scooter and experience its upgraded features first-hand at the said venue.
The test ride focused on showcasing the PCX160’s real-world performance across key riding conditions as the participants were able to appreciate the engine’s smooth start, quiet idle, and responsive acceleration across low, mid, and high-speed ranges—delivering both agility and control. The CVT transmission provided effortless takeoff and throttle responsiveness, making it perfect for navigating city traffic or open roads.
Braking performance was another highlight, with both the Standard and RoadSync variants offering strong, stable stopping power on both front and rear wheels. Riders also appreciated the scooter’s handling and comfort, particularly its stability at higher speeds, maneuverability in tight turns, and ability to absorb road bumps—ideal for both daily commuting and weekend cruising.
Comfort and ergonomics were thoughtfully integrated into the design with the new handlebar and footboard layout offered improved reach and posture, while the spacious seat made long rides more enjoyable.
Overall, attendees were impressed by how The All-New PCX160 elevated the premium scooter experience, merging refined design, intelligent engineering, and rider-focused innovations.
The All-New PCX160 is powered by a 157cc, 4-valve, Liquid-Cooled eSP+ Engine, delivering smooth, responsive acceleration with a refined performance. With fuel efficiency of up to 46.0 km/L (based on WMTC testing), it’s also built to go the distance—economically and environmentally.
There are two variants for the PCX 160 and they are the Standard Variant, selling for P133,400 which comes in Vortex Red Metallic, Pearl Fadeless White, and Matte Bullet Silver, featuring Combined Braking System (CBS) and the same standout style and engine and the RoadSync Variant (selling for P154,900) that comes in Matte Gunpowder Black Metallic and Pearl Fadeless White, fully loaded with Honda RoadSync, TFT meter panel, ABS, HSTC, and more.
