The Development Bank of the Philippines (DBP) has relocated its branch-lite unit (BLU) in Naga City, Cebu to a more strategic site to improve access and convenience for its clients.
DBP President and Chief Executive Officer Michael O. de Jesus said the transfer of the DBP Naga branch-lite unit to the Naga City Hall Building in Purok Diamond, Barangay East Poblacion will enhance the bank’s ability to serve clients in the city and nearby municipalities.
The DBP Naga BLU is among the bank’s 153 branches and branch-lite units, many of which are located in underserved areas nationwide as part of its financial inclusion efforts.
Bank officials said the new location is expected to provide more convenient banking access for local residents, businesses, and government clients.
The relocation was formally marked with a blessing and inauguration ceremony attended by Cebu Governor Pamela S. Baricuatro, Naga City Mayor Valdemar M. Chiong, and DBP Chairman Philip G. Lo.
Also present were DBP Branch Banking Group officials and regional executives, who underscored the importance of expanding financial services closer to communities.
DBP said the move aligns with its broader strategy of strengthening presence in key growth areas while improving service delivery in underserved localities.
