More than 1,000 Metrobank employees were recognized for their years of service as the bank marked its 64th anniversary, highlighting the people behind its six decades of growth and transformation.
Among the awardees were 171 Metrobankers who have spent 30 years with the bank, witnessing major changes in the financial industry and helping the institution navigate different economic cycles.
Metrobank President Fabian S. Dee said the loyalty of its longtime employees reflects the values that have kept the bank grounded through changing times.
“Our greatest lesson from their journey is that resilience alone is not enough. While circumstances may change, our values must remain constant. We must continue to lead with malasakit, do what is right for our customers, and be the Bank that Filipinos can always rely on, especially when times are hard,” Dee said at the bank’s 64th Anniversary Service Awards.
The recognition went beyond years of service, celebrating the contributions of Metrobankers in building lasting relationships with customers, supporting businesses and strengthening the communities served by the bank.
Metrobank said generations of employees have helped the institution adapt to evolving customer needs and changes in the financial landscape while staying anchored on its core values.
