PASAY CITY — It was running with a touch of magic.
More than 20,000 runners filled the SM Mall of Asia Complex on Sunday for Disney Run Philippines 2026, turning a regular race morning into a colorful parade.
Organized by RUNRIO, the event offered 10K, 5K, and 3K distances. Participants ran in costumes and character-inspired gear, creating a festive atmosphere across the MOA grounds.
In the men’s 10K, Vincent Avestruz crossed first in 33:25. Mark Anthony Oximar took second in 35:29, followed by Louie Agawa in third at 39:40.
Mary Rose Frias ruled the women’s 10K with a time of 40:47. Maricar Camacho finished second in 41:28, while Renelyn Aquino placed third in 43:18.
Charles Stephen Perez won the men’s 5K in 22:28. Christian Lumboy was second in 23:02 and Hakee Herrera third in 23:10.
Jo Punay topped the women’s 5K in 21:34. Shella Grace Villatura came in second at 29:16, with Hazel Mae Dizon third in 30:05.
Bong Sentillas claimed the men’s 3K title in 10:15. Kristoffer Troy Sison finished second in 11:07 and John Amiel Buenviaje third in 11:30.
Princess Julie Bie won the women’s 3K in 13:16. Ma Cherry Con Lee placed second in 14:27, while Karla Marie Superiano rounded out the podium in 14:46.
