Actress Glenda Garcia cancer-free for 20 years now, keeps fit to ward off recur of illness

Like sexy actress Vida Verde, sought after television, film and stage thespian Glenda Garcia is already cancer-free for more than twenty years.

“I am lucky I am still alive because I still have so many things to do in life,” said Glenda in our casual conversation during the wake Vida’s eldest sister Yolanda Mejia recently.

“I owe my life to the Lord so I am thankful to Him He gave me another lease on life,” quipped Garcia who is the younger sis of actress Melissa Mendez.

“Because of my experience having cancer before I am able to treasure life every step of the way.

“At the moment, I watch my diet. I am fond of fruits and vegetables. I also play badminton regularly to keep me fit,” shd informed.

She also doesn’t stay late at night.

Aside from being health conscious, Glenda also maintain wellness that brings out not only the outer beauty but the inner as well.

After her taping “Lilet Matias, Attorney-at-Law” for GMA Network afternoon prime at 3:20 pm to pilot on March 4, 2024, she goes home immediately and rests.

“Mabuti na ang nag-iingat. Kasi, marami pang gagawin. I love my new teleserye. I play the foster parent of Lilet Matias who is being played by Jo Berry,” shared Garcia.
